an open cultural space in nature!

Naju National Museum

Greetings,

The Naju National Museum was founded for the purpose of preserving and exhibiting relics from the Yeongsangang River Basin and serving as a repository for cultural assets excavated from the Honam area.

As the first-ever national museum in Korea to be established in nature outside the city center, Naju National Museum is also functioning as a history park, where people can relax amid slowness away from the hustle and bustle.

The Naju National Museum is an open cultural space where cutting-edge technology has been incorporated into the cultural realm. It became the first national museum to introduce an exhibition guide system using an artificial intelligence curating robot, and it even offers an app for visitors to receive information about the exhibition taking place and experience it in AR.

There is a large viewing window installed in one of the six storage rooms so that visitors can see the inside of the storage. The museum also offers a spacious experience-based exhibition facility and a rooftop garden for visitors to enjoy diverse experiences.

The Naju National Museum aims to be a 21st century museum where there is a blend of nature, history, and frontier technology, and we look forward to your visit.
